Ariana Banqueting Hall is a venture of Ariana Group. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and when you enquire, visit or book the hall. This notice is written for the United Kingdom and reflects the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).

What we collect

When you send an enquiry or call us, we typically collect:

  • Name, email address and telephone number
  • Event type, proposed date, guest numbers and package interest
  • Any message you choose to send us
  • Correspondence if you later book a viewing or a date

We do not ask for payment-card details through this website. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Why we use it

  • Contract and pre-contract steps — to answer enquiries, arrange viewings and take bookings (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • Legitimate interests — to run the venue, keep records of conversations, and improve how we host events (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Legal obligation — accounts, licensing and tax records (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • Consent — only where PECR requires it, for example optional marketing emails. You may withdraw consent at any time.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months if a booking does not follow, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Booking and invoice records are kept for six years after the event, as required for UK tax records.

Who we share it with

We share information only where needed to deliver your event — for example our in-house catering (Sultan Caterers) and décor (Anah Events), or a contractor you have asked us to involve. We do not sell personal data. Hosting and email providers who process data for us do so under written contracts and UK / adequate-country standards.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or data portability, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Write to us first at info@arianabanqueting.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
